Housing is a mix of detached and large semi-detached properties built from the 1930s onwards, with sizeable plots a defining characteristic. There is a meaningful share of older village cottages around Earlswood and Forshaw Heath.

Wythall station sits on the North Warwickshire line into Birmingham Moor Street and Snow Hill, with services running through Henley-in-Arden and Stratford. Earlswood station is on the same line.
