It runs from the western edge of the city centre through Mannofield, Hazlehead, Springfield and Rubislaw down to Cults and Bieldside on the south side of the Dee. The Rubislaw conservation area contains some of the largest Victorian granite mansions in the UK outside London, several built between 1880 and 1910 by oil-trading and granite-quarrying families.
