BB8 covers Colne, Trawden, Foulridge and surrounding villages in Pendle Borough Council, Lancashire. Colne has a historic centre and a conservation area covering parts of the town centre. Housing is overwhelmingly Victorian and Edwardian stone-built terraces from the cotton-weaving era, with 1930s and postwar semis on the periphery and newer estate development on the eastern fringes. The Lancashire-Yorkshire boundary sits just east of Colne.
